I'm planning the dormers and the roof tiles and in between I'm working on the rooms of the first floor. The flooring on the left room is ready and I'm thinking how I want to hide the wiring. I'm trying to design cabinets on the back wall. Out of cardbox to see how it will look and later of course in wood.




















For some variety I'm also crocheting a blanket with granny squares. I've got babysize now, but want to go for at least a throw blanket. No need to get bored ;)

Long for spring

Everywhere in Blogland you see people long for spring. I also wish spring would start yesterday ;). Today I want to show you the carnation embroidery I finished.



On the background you see the color I picked for the master bedroom on the first floor. I plan to hang the carnation and other flowers on this wall.

When I was grocery shopping yesterday I came across these......carnations!!

Of course I couldn't resist them, so here you can see the colors I love for my house:

Grey's, green, wood and a little accent colour like pink.

first floor

I'm so loving this! I've permanently attached the first floor on my house and now I'm working on the roofbeams and dividing walls.

The whole planning thing starts all over again; were do I want the lights, what do I need to do first now....I think that aspect of building your own house is really great! So I'm off dreaming again, have a nice day!
